Our Addiction Treatment Programs.
Three phases. One organization. From your first sober day all the way through aftercare — without ever switching providers.
Bay Area Recovery Center is ready to help you and your loved one get sober, and stay sober for life.
Our programs treat the entire person and not just the physical addiction. Our goal is to pass on the tools needed to stay sober after clients have left our programs and entered society.
Our programs are made up of three key phases, which begins with detox, and is followed up with inpatient and outpatient treatment.
All of our programs and facilities are run by licensed addiction treatment professionals who have spent their lives helping men and women achieve sobriety.
If you are ready to do the work, we are ready to pass on the tools needed to stay sober for life.
Every client has a unique story — and a unique path to healing.
We strongly believe that in order for our program to be successful, every client’s individual circumstances must be taken into consideration. Even though our treatment programs are primarily designed to address the client’s addiction, our staff works closely with clients throughout all stages of treatment, addressing their individual needs as they arise, and using modalities that the client responds to.
Even more important is how we deliver these tools to our clients. Because many of our addiction specialists have experience with addiction themselves, they have an innate understanding of how to deliver the message effectively.
From mental disorders to physical ailments or old age, our facilities and staff are ready and waiting to help you or your loved one. Give us a call to speak with an addiction specialist today.
Treat the whole person.
For hundreds of years it was believed that addiction was a physical issue — that ridding the body of the toxin meant getting clean on willpower alone. Medical literature shows us this is the farthest from the truth.
Recent research has found addiction to be a three-fold disease of the mind, body, and soul. Alcoholics Anonymous describes it as a physical malady, spiritual malady, and mental obsession.
Our programs are designed around this principle and backed by medical literature.
Medically Assisted Detox.
For clients who are active in their addiction, their journey will start with detox. We begin this process with a thorough physical and mental evaluation, and 24/7 supervision by medical staff on site. We ensure safety and effective treatment with as little discomfort as possible. Every patient’s detox plan is approved and signed by an M.D. on staff.
Medically assisted detox is used to alleviate the worst of withdrawal symptoms while staying focused on safety. A detox plan is based upon many variables:
- Half-life of substance
- Age
- Duration, frequency, and quantity of usage
- Medical history
- Mental health
Detox is the foundation. Once a client is medically stable and free of acute withdrawal, they transition directly into our residential inpatient program — no gap, no second provider.
Residential Inpatient.
Once detox is completed, the inpatient phase ranges from 30 to 60 or 90 days in a residential setting. Most importantly, our men and women are segmented into their own facilities, which allows them to focus on their recovery without any distractions.
During inpatient treatment, clients spend time working on their addiction with personalized counseling, individualized work, group sessions, and many other features of our program designed to identify the causes behind their drug abuse — and the tools they will need to continue sobriety after they have left our facilities.

Outpatient Programs.
Once a client has left an inpatient program, they will be admitted into an outpatient program. This ensures ongoing support and reinforces their path to sobriety as they rejoin society.
Our outpatient tracks include Intensive Outpatient Programs (IOP), Supportive Outpatient Programs (SOP), part-time rehab for working parents, alumni meetings, and ongoing therapy and aftercare for graduates.
Additional program objectives.
Our programs are designed to help clients not only get sober, but to improve themselves and how they function in society.
